The problem for Trump (and us) is that this isn't going away. Trump has benefited from our media system for years. The media cycle doesn't focus on any story long enough for him to take long term damage. Something happens, the media reports on it, Trump gets mad...and then we all move on because the media has something new to talk about. That's not happening here. This virus will dominate all discussion for the next few months, and possibly the entire year.
This is like Katrina. The media camped out in Lousianna for months and Bush got destroyed. Trump is operating like this will end any minute, which is why he keeps lying and bullshytting. But...it's only gonna get worse.

I’ve told plenty of people that Trump is the epitome of America and he’s the president that we deserve for all the crimes this country has done unchecked and not punished for. Everything you’ve mentioned. That’s why I’m unmoved by any of this. I’m considering voting for him as an FU to all the people who choose politics over doing the right thing. And another note: we got to stop letting Great Britain, France and Spain off the hook because they owned the colonies in this country we now occupy.

It is surprising the number of people on theColi who think that Trump is going to win re-election. His stupid ass never won the first election to begin with. He won the electoral college, but he lost the popular vote by over 3 million people.
Trump himself knows that his time is up and he is willing to do anything he has to in order to keep the job, which included trying to get a fake investigation started on the presumptive Democratic nominee. People seem to forget that is why Trump was impeached. His time is just about up and him and his children will finally have to deal with all of the federal and state investigations in their criminality.

We are not going to fight a direct war against them, but the ruble is about to be worthless, because their economy is going to be wrecked. Not to mention the fact that most of diplomats, administrative officials and richest citizens are almost certainly going to be banned from the USA.
