I'm sickened by this whole my president is black movement and I'm black. The white people that set this petty race shyt aside and voted for a black man for president shouldn't be forced to listen to blacks rant and rave about the race of our president. I'm all for racial pride but this shyt is getting out of hand.

No fukking shyt they aren't... However, THEY think they are... Which really exhibits some extreme delusion and paranoia on their part.... and it is HILARIOUS:heh:

I mean look at what Bill O'Reilly said... That is pretty much exactly what the thread starter is saying, just in a different way..

If most conservatives only hate Obama because of political differences, then how do you explain all of the people calling him a "******" on twitter? It must be because they don't agree with his politics? :what::laff:

O'Reilly said the Republicans have to adjust to changing demographics

the OP is just shytting on conservatives with no basis in logic

and those people on Twitter are not representative of conservatives

There were people on Twitter talking about how they'll be forced to be slaves if Romney wins... we are supposed to think that's a popular belief?

:aicmon: Shut the fukk up breh....if you dont think white people fear the idea of "losing the country", you're an idiot. Half of Romney's RNC speech was about returning America to the country he grew up in. That's pretty much all he ran on and the fact that it was effective enough to get him all those votes validates this thread.

Yeah and that's all about getting the black man out of office

You're sounding like Ludacris in Crash

as a white obama supporter i do think it is important that the institutionalized racism that americans have grown up with be abolished and getting white privilege checked is a great way to start. plenty of work that still needs doing for decades to come but that is to be expected. white privilege is a very real concept and one that many whites would never recognize simply because they have been conditioned by generations of hate and fear.

as a person who does not support hate for ANYONE, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. i don't know why a fundamental shift towards a more inclusive society for everyone is seen as such a bad thing but time and time again that privilege and that conditioning rears its ugly head and shows us how far we need to go to create a more perfect union like the founder fathers supposedly supported during the founding of our country. the idea of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness should apply to everyone. not just the ruling classes.

there is so much that can be learned from other races, cultures, neighbors, and potential friends and allies and gaining more experience makes us all smarter, more loving, and more charitable towards our fellow humans.

i'm as glad for these election results as i was in 2008 but i know this time obama still has a difficult row to hoe because people fear change, even when it is for the better. the way that you can help this along is to be critical, think critically about your world and how you can make it a better place. i :salute: all the folks on the-coli that promote education, inclusion, love, and the idea that we are all human beings. we are all people on this planet. we need to live, coexist, and grow together and we should be trying to raise our level of consciousness and bring our ideals to a place where the world WON'T end in a nuclear war or food riots or melted ice caps flooding the continents. the idea that you would take your ball and go home instead of trying to work with others to preserve our future is just :mindblown: to me but there it is.

also LOL @ all the butthurt conservatives and racists out there. #SORRYBOUTCHA

You're attributing a near 50-50 red-blue split which happens with just about every presidential election to racism against Obama for being black

and you're calling me an idiot :usure:

A lot of black Democrat voters don't see past Obama's skin color either... why is it only wrong in one side?

when people get mad they might yell out racial slurs that doesn't mean they voted against Obama cuz he's black :leostare:

are you saying a significant portion of Romney's 48% of the popular vote voted for him cuz they hate Obama for being black?

the same 48% that would've picked a generic Republican over a generic Democrat? :snoop:

(Sorry for the long post)

Having a black man in office represents a paradigm shift in America. I remember watching some documentary, I cant recall the name of it at the moment but, the speaker said for the first time in US history African American parents truly believe that their children will have a better life than they did. Their children will get a better education, get better jobs, be able to live in better areas. Just two generations ago, African Americans were fighting for Civil Rights. A generation ago was Blacks were struggling with the crack epidemic & rampant gang violence. The urban community is still in shambles but, compared to the 90s (2,000 murders a year in LA/NYC, 900 murders in Chicago), things are looking up.

Then, he said, for the first time in history Hispanic parents also believed their children will have better lives as well. Two generations ago, most these muthafukkas weren't even in America :dead: A generation ago, they worked meager jobs to save up enough money to provide opportunity for their kids. Now those children are the first in the family to get a college degree & will likely move up to the middle/upper middle class.

In contrast, he said, for the first time in history, white parents feel that their children won't have a better life than they did :ld:

That's all this shyt is really about breh. Why they hate Obama. Why they hate the Democratic Party. Why they would support an obviously self centered fukktard like Mitt Romney. Obviously, not all whites. Liberals & Progressive whites helped to put & keep Obama in office. But Conservative whites tho :ld: They scared brehs. Its all about losing power, losing control. They want to go back to 1950s America. Bring back good ole American values...that "Leave it to Beaver" era.

LeaveItToBeaver.jpg

Where Dad worked a high paying job, could afford to raise his children in a big house in a nice neighborhood, had a second mortgage on a lake house for the summer and a boat to take the kids out on every weekend :skip: They're entitled to a certain way of living & they cant imagine losing that level of privilege. Only problem was, in order for them to have that privilege, that high standard of living......Blacks & Hispanics had to live in filth :troll:

on point, breh, excellent post.

in regard to the paradigm shift for whites - it doesn't have to be that way. they don't need to feel like they are on the outside looking in (this is a feeling with which minorities are very familiar).

progressives, liberals and the like are inclusive regardless of ethinicity, so the traditionalists and conservatives will be treated fairly, but accordingly - this means they will have to moderate some of their positions and accept the reality of changing demographics and policies, yet still maintain their confidence in the country they believe in.

Black people have been voting for white people for goddamn 40 years... Im pretty sure we can vote for someone based on more then just race...

Yes, race is apart of the reason why a large portion of Conservatives do not like Obama...

Like I said, keep believing that most conservatives see past skin color... As a black male, i'm not going to walk in darkness... I accept the reality, and act according... This includes grabbing a large glass to sip those tears because the "******" won:lolbron:

Also, I love how you just brushed off the fact that Bill O'Reilly basically said the same thing as the threadstarter... He said that the White establishment is now the Minority... The white establishment being a majority was one of the backbones of "white privilege"... To them, If that backbone is becoming the minority, that white privilege is being "threatened"... Its pure delusions... and it is funny....

It's the division amongst the white establishment that caused this a 60 40 split coupled together with the minorities uniting.

Some what true. One thing that they need to realize is that a society with equality that benefits everyone does not make their life harder, but rather improves their country's conditions, which in turns helps their next generation and the overall country's growth and power.

Some people believe you have to shyt on others to gain, while others believe if you help everyone around you, it makes your job in the long run easier lifting your own conditions.

Ironically Jesus believed this
