Considering downgrading from a S5 to a Note 3

I need a bigger phone and don't want to buy one so I found someone willing to trade with me. I hate the OS updates on the S5 and the fact I can't root the shyt. So I figured I would just go for a Note because I don't know what else I could get for my S5. Thoughts?

True , plus you can easily get one under $200 on ebay with accessories. Got mine with a otterbox, plus a extra extended nolemon battery for $175 . Also its easy to root, took me maybe 5 mins

i actually went from a note 3 to a gs5 and dont consider it a downgrade. In my experience the gs5 performs a little smoother/snappier and i prefer the smaller size. Notes are too big for me...i like my comfortable one had operation and cant personally go back to note sized/iphone plus sized phones. I currently rock a iphone 6s...perfect size for me and the gs5 is close in size.

It allows you to have complete control of your phone, for example: remove all the bloatware that's preinstalled on the phone, also custom roms etc
