the 2080ti is basically the Titan, and the ($3000) Titan V might as well be one of their workstation cards (Tesla/Quadro)

it all comes down to the benchmarks. if the 2070 is a lot better than a 1080ti, then it's worth it

500 dollars for just a graphics card? FOH!! I literally paid 500 for my whole gaming computer set up about 5 years ago. Bought it off some college kid and got a monitor, and a fancy mouse, keyboard, and headset. I've yet to find a game that i want to play that i can't, a few of them i have to play on medium graphic settings but i still get to play it with no issues. Nvidia must be crazy.

Whatever, I copped two 2080ti founder editions earlier today, when they went up for preorder. I paid the same 2 or so years ago for my two Titan X (Pascals).

If you want bleeding edge shyt, you gotta pay a premium.

But, if the ti version is $1200, what’s the new Titan X (Turing) gonna cost? $2K+?

When they stop giving me the best performance possible. Console folks worry about checkerboarded 4K at 30fps with medium settings. PC folks worry about native 4K, at 144fps with ultra settings.
