Realistically you don't need a 2080 ti to play games

But everybody want 120 constant fps in 4k with multiple apps open in the background :mjlol:

Yall could game at 1080p 60fps locked with a 1050 ti and an i5 maybe even an pentium g4560

Whatever, I copped two 2080ti founder editions earlier today, when they went up for preorder. I paid the same 2 or so years ago for my two Titan X (Pascals). :manny:

If you want bleeding edge shyt, you gotta pay a premium. :yeshrug:

But, if the ti version is $1200, what’s the new Titan X (Turing) gonna cost? $2K+?
You bought that on your flight to Dubai didn't you? :wow:

Notice how you have zero daps. I am not too worried about the @Ciggavelli cards. It's the lower end shyt that worries me.

LOL @ the idea of the 1050 Ti successor potentially costing $250-$300 :dead:
I think the low end might still be the GTX cards... aka not part of our ray tracing future :umad:

These are capable of ray tracing right?

Wouldn’t that command a higher price?

Wait foreal?

But even if they were, is DirectX even using ray tracing for anything?

I think this is more for miners than gamers.

Nobody knows if the Ray Tracing parts/modifications will mine at all yet. So far, the non-Ray Tracing improvement looks small and nowhere near the rise in price, ratio wise. The 2080 Ti may be the exception, but that costs EVEN MORE

I meant the card itself, not the ray tracing capability. I should've been more clear.
