@O.G.B
You thought I forgot?
Nah, I was simply waiting for additional evidence of Samsung's epic fail to pile up...and, man does good evidence come to those who wait.
First let's put things in perspective by discussing the timing of this failure. As you may know, a little company by the name of Apple just released its latest flagship phone to great reviews:
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus review: The future in disguise
Now, when smartphone customers travel to their local retailer looking for a flagship phone...they can choose between the beautiful iPhone 7 and the Note 7...oh wait, no, they can't because the Note 7 is exploding, recalled, and no longer available for sale.
Next up, let's talk money. Have you seen Samsung's stock lately? Have you seen how Samsung's market share has reduced by tens of billions USD?
Samsung loses $26 billion of market value after Note 7 recall
Yes their price may have rebounded some but it's still down significantly over where it was before the explosions started.
Nevermind the cost of replacing these phones... $$$
Nevermind the individual and class-action lawsuits that are coming... $$$
Nevermind the potential government fines... $$$
Next up, let's talk brand image. Samsung is taking a significant beating over this fiasco. Let's see... the FAA just officially prohibited the use of Note 7s on airplanes. So on that cross country flight the beautiful lady sitting next to you can watch the latest episode of Narcos on her beautiful iPhone 7 plus while you are forced to turn off your Note 7, leaning over struggling to take a peak at her screen.
It's illegal to use Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 on a plane, says FAA
Also note that Samsung issued an update to South Korean Note 7s that peg their battery at a max charge if 60%.

Nevermind the injuries that the explosions have caused...
Nevermind the property damage that the explosions have caused... I'm just sure that these folks will line right up to purchase another Samsung phone.
Now...I ask you kind sir, are you now willing to admit defeat and acknowledge that this is a Certified Epic Fail on Samsung's part?
