shyt has really been on my mind a lot, I love Brooklyn :to: but the city is so enticing. Lower Manhattan right now is buzzin too :blacklawd:

I got a couple of homies over there, both male and female, telling me that being young and living downtown right now is GOAT.

I mean Im already familiar with it, I know every part of NYC, as far as school and parties and shyt, but I've never really lived there. or Woke up there on a daily basis. I here it's inspiring as hell :wow:

Plus, Im about to turn 21 soon. So the bars and nightlife are gonna be essential as hell. I'll able to do more now :blackbands: And this shyt is looking like a move. Plus, BK is becoming extra hipster :scusthov: Im tired of seeing the shyt now. Manhattan is more culturally diverse than BK now too. More girls. More parties. :blackwhoo:

BK has become cacs with beards, and white bytches with too many tattoos. It ain't the same no more. Ain't as authentic no more. :beli:

Manhattan brehs, wassup? :lupe:

MY friends used to live in the LES and they moved to BK cause of the high rent prices there.

I feel ya though on Brooklyn...The hipster infestation seems to have no end in s8ght.

BTW I'm enjoying a nice club mate with tequila at Bossa Nova Civic Club right now.

Lived in Downtown Manhattan for 4 years in dorms and apartments

if you can afford it make that move :wow:

I'm about too :wow:

My rent in my crib now is around the same of what I would pay for a slightly smaller crib LES, Greeenwich, or Tribeca.

Did you love it Downtown breh? :lupe: I know how it is already, but I mean living there. It wasn't too fast for you on a daily basis? :patrice:

Man this shyt is getting out of hand. They got the stuy looking CRAZY right now. And none of them are even from BK, they're all from Chicago or some shyt. Literally invading BK like its nothing. At least in the City, they'll be a little bit of everything you know? :win:
Rents not really gonna be an issue anymore for me. Im aboutta get back on my grind this week coming :youngsabo:

But I got a close friend who lives in Soho now who keeps telling me to make the move too. Said I'd never look back.

I really loved it breh, such close proximity to everything.

popping bars & clubs are walking distance :whoo:

fly chicks everywhere :banderas:

dope restaurants on every block :ohlawd:

not having to take the train to go shopping :lawd:

tons of cultural activities and landmarks :wow:

And there's this incredible energy that downtown manhattan has, especially during the summer. makes you want to really get your hustle on and do productive shyt. If youre a man with no serious commitments, downtown is essentially heaven. it's probably the livest neighborhood on this planet

I aint been working since around September due to personal shyt and Been blowing through my savings since then, which idgaf about to be honest. When working, and on my normal grind. I could afford around 2400 a month. Which would be my cap for rent, but more likely than not I would end up spending around 2 gs on rent. Which I can do.

And NY is the city of hustle man. There's always a way to make it here. My rent now is 1900$. I'll pay an extra 5 to live in Manhattan

:krs: you make that shyt so perfect for a young 20 something nikka :wow:

Most of time when Im there, I might spend the night at my boys crib. Or fukk with a girl out there. School, parties etc. But I aint never really took it in like that. Not waking up there and scoping the restaurants and coffee spots. I know theres mad hidden gems over there too :wow:

You just described that shyt like a fukking haven for real nikkas :wow:

I know :mjcry: I spent some time this past summer at my boys crib near WSP. And shieeeeeeet everybody on the grind down there. I know what you mean when you say it makes you want to be productive. I already know it. But living there I could REALLY know it. Not just going to school and partying over there you know?

I think my mind is made :wow:

No. Do tell though.

go all the way to the end of Flatbush...go past the Mall, go past the Belt Parkway...on the left there will be an old airport.
it is the size of 3 Brooklyn neighborhoods.

go there when the weather is nice and take a bike.
you can ride around there for hours.
there are trails in the woods and small beaches on the water.

Fort Tilden is just over the bridge from there and it is amazing as well.
