Stuff like this is why it's so easy to skip WWE shows right now. The people HHH has decided to be the face of the company are boring, the people they're bringing in suck, and the overall product is just lame right now. It's basically 2019-20 NXT at this point.
Also probably doesn't help that you could legit skip a couple of weeks at a time and miss minimal plot developments. Just keeping up with the show via recaps and results, the show comes off like it's booked to be similar to the 80s, despite the sheer volume of TV hours being vastly different.
