i know its early but i was thinking who could be in consideration for 2026. i'm sure there are folks on the roster not doing anything. most seemed to be from nxt. i know all of them seemed to have been active or established a year ago so not like they released anyone fairly new since those are the cheapest anyways. don't know if any contracts could be up by that time either that may not be renewed. we shall see who they use consistently thru out the next year, of course anything can change and they can be using someone now and just stop at some point to then release them. hopefully no other wrestlers get released this round.

granted NXT has generally been the one shining light when it comes to booking them but u get to the main roster and its catering or jobber status while these samoans cosplaying as nikkas get the spotlight

I think most of these people either end up in TNA, some WWE ID indie ecosystem or even return to the company via Evolve if they have some worth.
And like a few other cuts I can see them even returning to the company (Dakota and Braun are gonna end up being these people that get cut and rehired numerous times)
I think Cora, Gigi, Kacey, Kayden, Dakota will all be featured prominently on the various circuits. Even if they dont get a full AEW contract I can see them coming in for a Ring of Honor shot, same with TNA and the various WWE associated indies (GCW, WWE ID related shyt, Marigold maybe)
And I honestly wouldnt be surprised if someone like Cora gets re-hired in a year or so
Btw I do think its funny looking at Wrestling twitter how Dub fans almost unanimously are like "Look at the piece of shyt MAGA company, record profits but cutting people...yeah but TK dont hire any of them"
They so scarred from the Fed influx last time as if half of them still worked out for them.

There will be more cuts before the end of the year and more contracts expiring.
If I had to guess I would say people like Wren, Karmen, Jazmyn, are probably vulnerable. Wren, in particular, is a great wrestler, but personally, I don't see where she would fit on main. If they aren't released now, then Ridge and Nikkita are definite contenders unless they magically improve.
