Shayna was struggling to make anything she did interesting for the past 6 years. If she went to AEW she's basically gonna be in that Deeb/Mercedes Martinez role and those two are probably better than her right now. There may be use for her in the Death Riders but Marina is probably way cheaper to just look tough and carry a briefcase around.

Comparing age isn’t comparing talent. If you’re booking you need to play to each talent’s strengths. Shayna is a bad ass and you book her like a bad ass. She doesn’t need to cut long winded promos. Just go in and handle biz; if you use her for promo just keep it simple.

Y'all seem to forget that Brock Lesnar wasn't getting any sort of reaction for his TKO finishes until the Rock made him look like a million bucks at SS 2002. How long did it take for Bobby Lashley to get over? He wasn't shyt until Dixie gave everyone the blueprint by pairing him up with MVP and another one or two black wrestlers. Before that he was best known for "Bathturd."

Everyone isn't going to get over instantly. It takes time. And when you start a push, then you stop it then start it again after several months or a year you're basically starting all over and if you keep doing that eventually then crowd won't care.

More and more HHH is starting to look like what he was supposed to be in his heydey, a ruthless politician. I don't know if that's TKO influence or if this is just who he is but this definitely ain't "Papa H" anymore.

If Vince never sold the company and also stayed out of the picture we may have gotten that full "Papa H" experience which seemed to be in the works prior to Vince returning for that brief time, but he has "bosses" now and his own booking biases he's going to push to the forefront. Any goodwill and experimentation that he was doing back in 2022 or 2023 is likely gone for good.

This was all foreshadowed by Triple H prior to TKO buying the company. I remember him saying that he believes it's impossible to book as he was booking for NXT and carry that over to the main roster. That's when I realized that if Hunter ever got full control he'd be more likely to book like Vince McMahon lite than to what he personally likes to watch.

Yeah, we've seen some of that NXT booking style carry over but he's doing it with his favorites and not thinking enough outside the box. I don't think he's tapped in culturally and doesn't care to be. The Bloodline Saga bought him a lot of time because TKO isn't going to question much when tickets are being sold but he won't have forever. He's not going to get 10 years to figure everything out. TKO already stepped in when 'Elimination Chamber' ticket sales were in the tank. The only thing that matters is what the quarterly numbers look like.

The reading comprehension in here is nonexistent but I'm not surprised given some of the people involved. Age means nothing in wrestling as long as someone is in great shape and good health. Shayna looks and wrestles as she always did, she just hasn't received the same booking she once had. You can be closing in on 40 and inching close to retirement because of neck/back issues, concussions, drug abuse, etc. or you can be damn near 50 like Lashley and look like a million bucks.

That said, I don't think AEW needs to sign Shayna, they have a great roster of women already.
