With a lot of these guys, wrestling is the only thing they can do and want to do so sitting at home can be maddening even if they are getting paid for it.

With Malakai tho, he won't be treated any better than he is now with the WWE. I think if he leaves it's mainly because he wants to be with his wife on the road.

its so fukking stupid because if he did a mass release at once of all the people unhappy in AEW or wanting to go back to WWE, now you put the ball in WWE's hands and make them have to do the juggling act of bringing in a handful of talent like Rusev/Fenix/Starks/etc at the same time and its not like they can ALL show up with a hot debut/return and get shyt poppin over there

but if you freeze these people out and make em wait, now all of the sudden it's staggered out where Starks's contract is gonna expire and he's gonna show up in NXT with the spotlight fully on him, then a few months later we'll see Fenix debut in WWE with a lot of fanfare, then the next guy down the line and so on and so forth
