Sapp is suppose to be this professional wrestling journalist but if you check out his Twitter all he does is argue with wrestling fans 99% of the time :dead: and he always wants a pat on his back the times he’s right about something
I stopped taking his goofy ass seriously when he was gloating about a fruit basket that Hunter Helps the Press gave him. Dude is a mark with a typewriter that needs constant validation from the wrestling world like he's Mean Gene.

Luchablog reporting Hechicero has signed a dual contract so he’s officially All Elite in addition to being under a CMLL contract. I suspect we’ll be seeing quite a few more of these happening.

TK said that's the way things would probably go in that interview this week - they're not looking to poach talent from CMLL, but would be looking to do dual-contract deals and sending AEW people South to work too. Sounded like a really healthy relationship (for now, this is wrestling after all :francis: )

You'd think if they play it right it's win/win - making US stars of the CMLL roster should only increase the number of tourist tickets being sold at Arena Mexico as long as people can still expect to see those stars.

The dual contract think makes much more sense with CMLL than it does with NJPW given the logistics of where they are located.

A person can easily work both AEW and CMLL in the same week on a regular basis reasonably easily. Doing that for AEW and NJPW is just a recipe to end careers early because of all the travel involved.

Yeah, although Ospreay did it going back and forth from London which is more travel than doing it from, say, West Coast. Ospreay migjht just be a one-off though with the amount of time he's prepared to sit on planes tbh*

Sounds like Takeshyta is going to be taking that route - he's going to have (or already has?) a contract with NJPW as well as DDT. Got a feeling he's going to win that G1 and have a little IWGP run to try and bring some heat back to the brand...

*not to be confused with the grind which we all know he's scared of :troll:
