Scarlett Bordeaux has spoken out about her experience with WWE, sharing that she felt the company treated her unfairly during contract negotiations — and even used her situation to pressure Karrion Kross.

According to Scarlett, she was told that her contract talks would only happen after Kross finalized his deal, which made her feel like she was being used as leverage.

She expressed disappointment, explaining that it came across as misogynistic — especially since she was signed by WWE before her husband back in 2019.

“The idea that my value depends on whether or not he signs really bothered me,” she said during her interview on Insight. “It made me feel like I had no worth on my own.”

^ I mean...business wise you (re)hire the person's who's going to be in ring. I don't think Scarlett understands how replaceable she is.

They could easily get a woman and name her Lady Red and Karrion's presentation would be the same.

Only in rare cases is the manager seen as an 'equal' or more important.

If they had wrestling more then she could have a argument but she did nothing that made her stand out

In a way she’s as “Diva Coded” as Nikki Bella but with a little Indy experience

Eh I don’t like this standpoint

Yeah business wise you don’t want to sign extra people if you don’t need to

But you’re kinda devaluing what a manager brings, something wwe has been devaluing for a very long time now.

Could you argue Paul Heyman on his on screen role is replaceable with any other manager?

Kross and scarlet are an actual item so it makes sense to pair them together and pairing someone else with Kross wouldn’t make sense

Wwe could argue she doesn’t really do anything besides walk out with him. They put her in that position tho.
