I watched the video. So apparently they agreed on a down payment of 3000, then the rest (whatever that was) when the work was done . She wasn't satisfied with the finished product and he didn't take kindly to that.

I can understand from both parties, but dude could've gone about this better.. I'd like to see the contract that was agreed upon. But imagine putting in hard work just for someone to say "nah, could've been better." Demoralizes you and I bet he didn't believe her when she said she didn't like it. Thinking she was trying to pull a fast one

And he is right. Its just a way for some cheap mf to 'renegotiate' the cost of the work when they have the upperhand. Thats literally all it is. She defo planned to do this from the jump to pay less. Probably never had the full cost of the job to begin with.

the problem with her side is whats to say ANYBODY can't just say : "well it's not to my liking so i won't pay"

unless we see the contracts and see if there are SPECIFIC things the contractor egregiously left out of the reno then that bytch is in the wrong and it's discusting she used her WW tears to get over. :scust:

EDIT: Posted too soon. :francis:

She paid upfront $3000, and wanted to inspect the finished job before paying the rest. It wasn't a good job either.

She paid $3,000 and not the final payment until she saw the finished job. She wasn't home and he knew that! That was her roommate who doesn't own that house that could only beg them to stop. He knew the female owner of the home was at work and he knew that she wanted to see all the corrections and repairs that he claimed he made to the shower. They texted back and forth and he wanted payment before she could get home from work to see the corrections/repairs he said he did. Because he had major issues he did that needed to be fixed/repaired to that shower remodel job he did. She wanted to see the finished job before she paid the final payment. So he tricks the roommate into letting him and a woman into the home by saying he was there just to pickup the rest of his tools. He's carrying a sledgehammer and a crowbar. The crappy shower remodel job he did was broken, cracked tiles, badly misaligned tiles, tiles covered in grout, messy grout lines, tiles missing so much grout that she would have had severe leaks in that shower. The shower seat also had so many misaligned tiles missing so much grout missing that you could see inside to the hollow area of the seat.

This is why she was contacted by contractors all around the world that wanted to fix her bathroom. This is why they wanted to do it for free because they felt this contractor made all contractors look bad with the crappy work he did and the fact he destroyed her bathroom and a connecting wall trying to force payment without her even being home to inspect the finished job. He also didn't get a permit when he remodeled her bathroom which was later discovered.

He said he has the receipts, and it’s his property. By his property, he means all that tile. So she probably didn’t pay for materials either. He had to buy materials with a portion of the initial $3000, and he got what was left over. This is why a lot of contractors make the customer pay for materials, and they get paid for labor. Plus, if he has a helper, he has to pay that person daily, plus the gas, grout, adhesive, nails, insulation, etc.

When I was a teen I helped a family friend remodel a basement for someone. it was a way for me to learn how to work with my hands . when the time came to pay they was short significantly. They inturn tried to offered him lamps and some used home decor to make up the difference like that was an acceptable trade. They knew way in advance they couldn't afford it but let us do all the work till the end. However this family friend was a foreigner that never believed in sueing people and didn't have any contacts and it pissed me off. He paid all the helpers he had and he took the small profit from whatever they paid him. Me personally I could never fukk over contractors just off the strength that they know where I live let alone it's a shytty thing to do. I would be thinking about all the ways I would burn their house down and get away with it.
Termites and bed bugs you order online, that’s always the answer :ehh: Pretend you’ve forgiven them and discreetly let them bytches out in their house:banderas:
