yeah its weird. mods get salty when we ask that tho i noticed lol. Griselda threads usually got a little more going on than this..and this tape is fire so i dont know whats up. maybe the Griselda Heel Turn is in full effect and nikkas is ready to hate on them

I've seen some heel turning on Griselda in general. There's a decent amount of talk on this site that at this time and climate in the world that they arten't he are doing damage by glorifying violence or people like Chapo, etc. I mean honestly I thought the OG NSFW cover for Don't Get Scared Now was a little bit over the top and tasteless, but I've always fukked with the kind of music that Griselda makes and they're very talented at it, so I'm not going to stop being a fan of them just because they have a lot of negative subject matter during a very negative time in the world.

But yeah that's the main criticism I see. Their subject matte and its lack of diversity. But Mobb Deep is my favorite group and Redman is one of my favorite solo rappers ever and their subject matter was and is always the same shyt. So I don't really get that argument. A lot of the best rappers say the same shyt all the time.

yeah that cover was crazy lol. they had another project or song with a crazy cover too..thats the shyt they rap about tho so its whatever...just like you said about Mobb & Red...thats just their lane

still got this tape on repeat...one of the few joints i just restart it after its finished.

i dont really hear the Sean P comparisons other than just being underground and street but the Beanie Sigel comparison is spot on...only true difference is he doesnt open up as much as Beans did....
