There is a world famous sandwich shop, last time I went was about 15 years ago, so I’m sure it has updated.

Is it Pittsburg, CA or Pittsburgh, PA?
This is my question also.

As far as Pittsburgh goes. Sadly I am behind the times. Recently moved back. Been back for a year and a half. I grew up in the burbs ( Monroeville ) which is about 20 min from Downtown. I was pretty sheltered and I do not know much about the hot spots anymore.

Since being back I rarely leave my little area. No real need to. I Spent most of my adult life living in Florida. Since being back I am actually like a tourist. I dont know where anything is at anymore

Southside (Carson St.), Station Square, North Shore, Bloomfield/Lawrenceville all have decent spots. Nothing specifically for us but it’s a mixed crowd pretty much everywhere except Bloomfield. Google each area and you’ll find something to do

The science center closed.
Primanti's is good food.

But @Orbital-Fetus their aint shyt to do in Pittsburgh.

I was born and raised there and lived there for 25 years...i moved to NYC 10 years ago cause by that time all the cool spots closed down.
:yeshrug:
There's only 3 things left from my era in Pittsburgh still standing.

One-Up skateshop
Time Bomb
Peter's Pub
Jerry's Records
The rest is all food spots
Like Uncle Sams and Peppes.

Last time I was in Pittsburgh was last year after not living there for 9 years at that point and it was so depressing and dark and grey compared to where I live now (Denver) I couldn't do it.

To answer your question if you wanna bar hop There's South Side (i used to live there) but that shyt sucks. You're guaranteed to be drinking with 92% cacs

I felt the same way when I went back.
After Living in NyC for 6 years and Denver for now 4, i felt like a tourist too.

Everything just closed down or got remodeled and is unrecognizable.
Lots of those GetGo drive stations out and about

Ross Park Mall feels like Im too broke to shop there with the damn Louis V and Gucci stores in them now.

I don't know of any hot spots anymore either cause all of them closed! The Shadow Lounge closing got to me cause I used to DJ there. There's nothing like that in Pittsburgh anymore.

Then the Station Square complex with Margarita Mamas, Matrix, and Tequila willies shut down and so many clubs close to where they used to have live acts in the 90s/2000s.

I couldnt even imagine what I'd do if I still lived there. Downtown Pittsburgh is tiny compaeed to like 75% of cities and it shuts down at 6. Compared to being in NYC where last call is at 4 i couldn't do it. The South Side scene is overrated as fukk. But since the Strip shut down and Station Square lost its appeal, everybody goes there. The bars are trashy thrre too. Lots of sports bars and irish pubs with racist cacs that like to get beer tough.

I was used to partying it up in Brooklyn at that point it couldn't compare to that mess.
