'Die Hard' of course. It ushered in a whole new era of action movies. It was gritty and realistic in the sense that our hero was just a regular cop and he was taking damage throughout the movie that wore him down to the point where you're unsure how he's going to get through this.

Watched one the other night, on Freeve, that was probably objectively bad, Jack's Back

James Spader, and I want to say Robert Patrick, in one of the most contrived serial killer movies I have ever seen, still manages to have a few moments.

Fatal Attraction is a classic, anything by Adrian Lyne. 9/12 Weeks is another. After Hours. Black Rain, like someone mentioned, very very dope movie.
