a few hours ago raptor fans had completely given up on their squad and conceded defeat to the 7 seed pacers. all of a sudden they're confident again:russ:....by the time the series goes back to miami they'll throw their squad in the bushes just like they always do.

raptors fanbase is easily the most reactionary kneejerk bipolar fanbase on here. On realgm they were explosively negative, then explosively euphoric, negative again

Toronto Raptors - RealGM raptors fans run the nba section

Kyle Lowry 51-159 on jump shots outside 12 feet the last 16 games(last 10 games of the regular season plus 6 playoff games, game 7 stats aren't available yet) since reinjuring his elbow. 41.8 EFG %
52.1 EFG% on jump shots outside 12 feet first 68 games of the season. Clearly his elbow is bothering him, even if it's largely a mental thing. Hopefully getting out of the first gives him some confidence. That's gonna be the biggest x factor in this series.
Otherwise I'm gonna do some scouting tonight, drop my keys to the series tomorrow

I honestly would say Heat in 6 if I hadn't of saw games 3 and 4 of the heat/hornets series...Heats D won't be as tough...

Even tho Toronto didn't play well most of the series,I still remember game 3 where they blew Indy away...I wanna see that team for 7 games in this series...

Yup, It's actually amazing that it's not something talked about more. I see the TNT saying he needs to play better. I see him doing everything but hitting shots that he made when he was healthy. There's been no media questions on his elbow, nothing. I don't understand how it's this bad. That Pacers/Raps series is entirely different with a healthy Lowry. It's a shame because I thought they had a real shot in the east.

Through the first 67 games of the season dude is damn near a 40% 3 point shooter

Then he hurts his elbow and is now throwing up shots that barely don't even hit the rim.

Last 9 games of the regular season

Didn't see this post. I made a very similar one above but focusing on jump shots.

Ure totally lost fam

The raps handed over the last 3 games with trash play and somehow stole 2. Miami has vet experience and the deepest bench. I dont even see us having the slightest chance.

I'm not lost at all breugham. ..I don't think we will have the issues offensively in this series...that's a fair point.

did you see the hornets offensive numbers against the heat?.....when the heat zone in defensively they are ridiculous. the heat's issues were mainly on the offensive end. and I don't see the raptors giving the heat as many problems defensively as the hornets did. the raps 3 pt defense is garbage. the way J rich, deng, and joe are shooting from outside right now, they are gonna be HELL for the raptors out there. which is only gonna open up the floor for hassan to feast down low.

I don't think hassan will feast in this series.I think wade,Deng may cook...Raptors bigs and wings will give the heat way more problems than the hornets did...they have nothong defensively like Powell and Carroll.

I'm not confident enough to pick the raptors but i don't think anyone should be surprised if Toronto wins...

Only team I'd be surprised by them beating is the Cavs...

When asked how the injury is affecting his play, Lowry had this to say:

I not gonna make excuses but it's definitely something I don't want to play with and I don't like playing with. But it is what it is, at this time of year you just play through it ... It just gets you when you can't extend your elbow, your arm the complete way. But hopefully we got it taken care of ... hopefully I won't be playing and shooting as bad as I have the last three games.

Over those aforementioned three games, Lowry has averaged just 13.3 points, 6.7 assists and two rebounds while shooting just 23.9 percent from the field, 19.2 percent from distance and a bizarrely poor 54.2 percent from the line.

Kyle :/

That was back in March and it still hasn't gotten much better. All this choking stuff is retarded - guy has lost his biggest strength as a player to a nagging injury that flared up at the wrong time. Can't beat Miami unless he somehow recovers from it which looks doubtful
