This series was a perfect example of regular season gameplay leading people to flawed and highly weird expectations of teams

The Heat beat teams on second nights of back to backs, teams with missing players, and a few good teams in between in the later half of the season

Deng and Joe Johnson played way above their level.....which again can happen in a regular season but come playoffs TEAMS IN A 7 GAME SERIES have time to focus on taking away your strengths and scouting your tendencies.

Miami shot the hell out of the ball in the first 2 games against the hornets and people thought they were going to be some high octane playoff offense.....I chuckled at that.

Their shooting came back down to earth for the rest of the playoffs.

Losing Whiteside didnt help of course but the Rockets lost JV so lets call that a wash

DeRozan and Lowry missed enough shots that this series was very winnable if other people besides wade could make some shots consistently..

Yup they said yesterday's game drew over 2 mill in Canada and its not even on reg cable

Robbers and bell need to put the games on city n ctv

It shows that the NBA can be big even in a hockey crazed nation

IF the Raptors ever won a chip support would go nuclear in Canada

Exactly! I've mentioned numerous time in other threads that the Heat's regular season record was a mirage of sorts because they played a lot of shytty teams, had a fairly easy schedule plus they had Bosh for 53 games prior to injury.

dude said they had an easy schedule like they didn't play 15 out of 17 games on the road in the middle of the season. that grueling ass stretch is most likely what caused bosh to get another blood clot.

:what: Can you read?

So you're claiming that the Heat having Chris Bosh for 53 regular season games wasn't a positive for the Heat? :dahell:

And you're also claiming that not having Chris Bosh for the last 29 games in the regular season & the playoffs after he was injured was a positive for the Heat? :usure:

Lol @ they played alot of shytty teams...They were in the toughest division in the East

:martin:

You don't know what the hell you're talking about! The Heat were 24 - 26 against all .500 and above teams in the regular season & 24 - 8 against all below .500 teams in the regular season,
The Heat also played 36 regular season games against .500 or below teams.

:camby:

They were in the toughest division in the East

Which in the end doesn't mean shyt because Miami barely got pass the first round against a less talented, less depth Hornets team even with Whiteside & then got bounced by the Raptors who played horrible for most of the series.
