So lets come to a starting point before the question can even be answered- What stats would be considered a bust? How do we define a bust?

Nobody in the mavericks fanbase or city of Dallas is ever expecting another Luka again.

Cooper Flagg can still be a great success story and appreciated separate from that. Kyrie as well.

Mavs fans over a certain, have had two elite talents nearly back to back with Dirk and Luka. You dont think much of the white fanbase expects that he will be the 3rd white elite talent?

As it stands now they have no real point guard and they are clearly going to feature AD on offense, so how is he going to get the ball?

And when Kyrie get's back you know he going to be gunning for his trying to re-establish himself.

What role is he actually supposed to play on this mavs team other than role player to Kyrie and AD?

He might legit bust on the mavs but be fine on another team that is really going to build the team around him.

The funny part is that the Mavs should clearly take Dylan Harper at one because he is so much more of a fit for their team. All they have is an old guard coming off a serious injury and some random dudes, Harper could start for them day 1. Instead because of the Luka trade and the hype around Cooper they going to be forced to take him and watch a rival take Harper at two and probably create a dynasty with Wemby.

AD will probably take 18-19 shots a game at most he will not take too many shots away from Flagg who shot be taking 14-15 shots a game. Austin Reaves developed on the team with AD and Bron as a third option. Dallas just needs to get a past first point guard and reset the offense.

Austin Reaves is just some role player Cooper Flagg is the number one pick supposedly franchise player in the draft . I 100% don't want my number one overall pick to be following any sort of training regime of some dude who aint never done nothing in the league but be wide open cause everyone else on defense is paying attention to Lebron, AD, and Luka.

The Mavs just re upped Kyrie for 40 million a year so they aint doing nothing else at point guard but paying Kyrie for awhile

You are basing this on CK, I don’t know much about women’s basketball. But she’s not only white, they say that her game is LeBron-levels for being a girl. Even above where she was like all-nba as a rookie.

So yes, if cooper is all-nba in his first year, styling on the best players in the league. And has a game nobody seen before, then
well, perhaps he deserves it.
