So you think you have miles of highway in the desert to outrun the cops in Dubai...

sooooo, where do they put the perpetrator when they catch him? this shyt don't have a back seat...:lupe:
It's probably for highway patrol to catch speeders. They'll release on a ticket. Kind of like cops on motorcycles in the US.
If they do need to arrest, they would dispatch a wagon or a car.

Considering the amount of ridiculously fast cars in that country I can understand why they'd need something so extreme.
I kind of wonder if they actually pursue at extreme speeds or if those Ferraris are just a visual deterrent for speeders.

...Disappointingly, despite the fact that this is the fastest and most expensive car in the world, it won’t be used in police chases. Dubai Police chief Maj. Gen. Khamis Matter Al Mazeina told reporters the car would, in so many words, be a rolling billboard touting the Emirate’s incredible wealth...
:wtf:
Can you imagine your local police department spending $1.6 million on a car just to flaunt the country's wealth? No official police or law enforcement use.
