From the 5:00-11:00 mark, De Blasio goes full blown ws. He routinely says "criminals"; is trying to call for clergy to calm us down, and says "we're making progress" because some cops took a knee with the protestors.
What happened to the officer is tragic.
I'm sure that the officers have families they love and that some of them want to serve their communities. They should remember that when turning a blind eye to the murders committed by their colleagues.
What's happening is unpleasant but they only have the institution to blame.

I think that was a finesse by both the driver and cop... They most likely know each other and set it up where the cop gets hit by the car and the cop can go out on disability.... Notice the cop braced himself before being hit..

Cop should have followed the pedestrian rules- maybe they should be trained better. Didn’t the NYPricks&Dycks run over peaceful pedestrians the other day?? And run up on people just for standing around. Whatever they do always comes back at them. The next time they threaten or brutalize people, they should have this incident etched into their mind to fall back before they get retaliated against. Blame the system that causes people to react out of fear and self defense..collateral damage.

Lets wait for all the facts come out. Does the officer have a history of drug or alcohol use? Was the officer drinking on the job or something? How could we know from that short clip?
