Heard audio and the officer said something about being fair to her last year.
New kids generally aren't asking for trouble.
Like I've said, I haven't checked this out fully but going off my experience with rebellious kids, sometimes you have to show them.
why didn't they attempt to get a hold of this girl parents when she failed to comply

It's at a point where the police are just trolling Black's now. Obama hasn't said a damned thing about it, and Hillary only cared when Bernie cared. We're in a troll's downward spiral right now.
We only know about this (I don't know how I'm still alive because think of all the Blacks in missing persons that probably just drove through the wrong state and had Crack sprinkled on them) because of cameras. So what does Obama's FBI Director say?? He cries about cameras making the police scared to do their jobs
. He is a Bush layover btw, like a lot of Obama's appointments involving military and Homeland Security

Notice, there's been no "race" speeches, or laws in consideration to provide better police training and accountability. However, a lot of laws are being proposed (or already adopted) to outlaw the police being taped. Ugh.

Anyway the cycle is easy to decipher. An officer, of any race, does some cornball outrageous shyt to a minority, usually Black. Blacks get up in arms about it, rightfully so. The media feigns a little indignance, but then turns the subject to Black on Black crime. Some c00n comes out and supports that notion that if we police ourselves more, they wouldn't have to.....then wait for the next more extreme incident.
If we protest, some fringe group who's tired of talking becomes the focal point to Black militant activity which justifies more scrutiny of the Black community, which will inevitably lead to another violent, cornball, off the wall altercation where the officer, of any race, is obviously the aggressor and stronger. Rinse and repeat.
We can't win.

Amazes me that before Twitter and the gram/ even the Internet! We had Marcus Garvey and dear brother Malcom starting and establishing international movements? That's without cellphones with video cameras giving instant play by play of vilant racism in the U.S. 
But the Internet at time acts as a diffusing mechanism. After people let out all their productive anger, indignation, and woop ass might the no longer have the interest nor energy to do anything. But if we save that sh!t, perserve it let it simmer

You're the stereotypical, sissified black man. Too scared to criticise to the white who was the obvious perpetrator in this incident, so instead you choose to shed the blame to us blacks. My daughter would never be in this situation. Establishing levels of respect and obedience at an early age is as primary as water and food.
So while I'm already getting negged here for my opinion, know that how I demand accountability from myself, I demand from my family as well.
There are no excuses for acting like an idiot. There are no excuses for doing something that forces the teachers to call the cops to address.
Believe that... y'all nikkas better wake the fukk up. This 'police brutality' wave we on is being diluted by stories like this one. Fake ass outrage for a girl who placed herself before her classmates, teachers, administrators and police.

I agree with you to some degree. Admittedly my first thought after reading the news articles on this incident, was why didn't the girl listen to the teacher in the first place? If she had, this incident would have never happened. I don't think anyone reasonable would disagree with that. I agree with you as well with looking at ONE of the aspects this incident highlights, that being unruly youth. My father would have got into my azz had I behaved like the girl in the classroom. That's a major reason I'm still alive and doing relatively well today, and why quite a few of my peers from then aren't. I'm curious to know that girl's background, although it's probably a given she comes from a dysfunctional background. That makes her a victim in two senses.
Still, I think you're focusing too much on that aspect of this incident, instead of the other disturbing part, that being the actions of a professional law enforcement officer. The age old rhetorical question comes to mind, the same question that comes up anytime an adult loses control of themselves because of the actions of a kid. Who's the adult in this incident? Beyond that, who's the professional? Were there other ways to handle this? Then come to find out the officer in question has a DOCUMENTED history of heavy handed behavior on the job. Imagine what this guy has done that hasn't been documented? Alonzo would have made that drop to the Russians had this officer been his partner that day. To be fair to police officers, I couldn't be a cop, cuz I'd probably fly off the handle too, but that's why I'm not a cop. The same reason this guy shouldn't be a cop.

They were children. And the teacher's most likely a sadist herself. A lot of dating profiles of teachers I've seen like rough sex. Probably desensitized at young age. That's the only one with any real power in the situation besides the cop.
