To all my Dallas people, If you haven't already done it please stop listening to K104 because they're on that bullshyt. The 2 black women on there are basically giving the finger wag to the black community, they're saying if we would've voted stuff like this wouldn't happen.

idk if anybody has suggested it yet, but one of the biggest events in ny is coming up soon.

new years eve at times square.

if ever there was a place and time taylor made for a protest by people from around the whole country and world, its that.

if people try to get together now and lock it down, its gonna be hard. but if u take advantage of new years eve when its already locked down for drinking and partying, and turn it into a real large protest, it can make some real noise.

i honestly feel like trying to start a instagram/facebook/twitter hashtag movement to organize that.
By that time people will forget

that sucks. new years eve in times square seems like perfect time. a major event happening that night could be the beginning of something bigger. im not advocating for violence and rioting, but that shyt is televised world wide and could go down in history like the million man march if enough people get behind it and come to NY from across the country. the more i think about it the more i feel like its perfect.

I think it's only a matter of when, rather than "if" people realize the divisions are there to keep them from fulfilling their potential. I really believe they're 1 great person away from it, whether that person has been born yet or not is the question.

There's struggle everywhere, but I just can't see how Black Americans will be anywhere different 20 years from now in this country. People in this place aren't progressive enough and another eventual recession will make these savages even more hateful.

I was browsing through the thread and I saw Chris Dorner mentioned. He's been mentioned in a few threads actually. I find it funny because I remember the big thread about him. I remember everyone rooting for him and then the cops burned him alive and people immediately shyt on him, talked about how stupid he was etc. etc. started making jokes. Dorner was ahead of his time I guess and it took awhile for some of you all to catch up. Yeah, he shed innocent blood but it was the sparing of innocent blood that ultimately cost him. I wouldn't say that he was a hero, but definitely an anti-hero. One that we desperately need right now. It took a lot of courage to do what he did and it always bothered me how people turned on him after he was killed. Glad to see he's being rehabilitated (on the Coli). That man struck real fear into the hearts and minds of the police.

Who turned on him? :dwillhuh:

And how could anyone call him stupid? He had the whole federal government coming after him and a trigger happy police force who were so desperate they were shooting at Hispanic women delivering newspapers just because they accidentally (:skip:) mistaken the truck for his. Even with all his training, there was no way he was going to match their high tech equipment and resources.

There were people saying he was a dumbass for putting his manifesto online, he was delusional, an idiot, yada yada yada. All after he died of course because he "lost" and we all know you can't take an L in front of the all seeing and all knowing eyes of the Coli. Like I said, I'm glad his image has been rehabilitated here but there were people who were shytting on him for not "winning" against what is basically a civilian armed force.
