I am getting fed up with people coming on TV and radio talking about "not all cops are bad" and "there are more good cops than bad". As far as I am concerned if no "good" cops are going to have the decency to speak out when their brothers in blue do such blatantly horrible shyt then they are just as bad and can go fukk themselves with their hurt feelings about being lumped in with the bad cops.

If NYPD has those type of weapons there not firing them off in Manhattan. way too densely populated and too many tall buildings. I never heard of a police force having tanks and choppers with machine guns/missiles on them, you have a link breh?

The mass movement would be you, the people, actively putting pressure on the representatives. That is what you're accountable for. If it's not happening, it's because you're not doing it.

This would be called lobbying. It happens already. It just doesn't happen for the issues you care about. Again how can you change the LAWS, if haven't elected anyone willing to change them? There is a political procedure. You can join one of those independent orgs and help draft these demands too.

Just to be clear, the variation in elections comes during primaries. At the national level, there are no alternatives because the people don't support alternatives. So again, it's up to you, the people, to make the inclusion of alternatives a priority. Ask yourself this, you're upset because there are no alternatives, but has anyone in your own family actually cared to research alternative parties or voted for the conventional option?

I agree, there needs to be pressure from the working-class. That's what I'm advocating... independent, working-class organizations capable of advancing a mass movement. You can call that "lobbying" or whatever you'd like, but lobbying tends to be for single-issue types of concerns. These organizations and the mass movement need to advance the interests of the working-class as a whole.

However, it must be noted that this system and the state apparatus serves the ruling class. Any pressure exerted that leads to reforms will be just that... reforms. Fundamental change will not come from lobbying or getting reforms passed. Those gains can be rolled back rather quickly.

That's the narrative they want to advance, because it stifles change and critical thinking. It is the institution that is problematic, not a few "bad apples."
