They go by ethnicity, not race in Africa. You wouldn't be the majority.

I know, I'm African. And that's amongst ourselves. But we also make the distinction between an African and foreigners (Euros, Chinese, indians, etc).

In either case, it won't be much different than in the US in one regard: either each respective African country gets their act together or Africa as a whole will be left behind, while its resource will continue to be taken away.

In January 2014, tough new penalties for selling loose cigarettes took effect in New York City...

“There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”

In either case, it won't be much different than in the US in one regard: either each respective African country gets their act together or Africa as a whole will be left behind, while its resources and talents continue to be taken away. And I rather do it where I'm not the minority.

I'm not seeing a difference but I am African American, not African, and I am bound to this land :yeshrug:

Yeah
Repatriation to Africa isn't some cool/in thing breh. Black leaders in this country have been telling black folks to consider Africa for centuries. It's the only solution that will actually help in my opinion because living around these people we'll never safe.

And you dudes keep talking about not leaving because you're fighting back is bullshyt. We're not fighting nothing. We live our lives waiting for someone else to come and save us because we don't want to save ourselves. It's why we keep talking about someone else should step in (Bane, God, Obama, DOJ, some other African nation etc).

I'd love to see dudes actually start fighting back and living their lives in such a manner, but I don't see it happening.
We would need money/resources to really bust back. :sadcam:

UN urges US to look at police accountability

United Nations (United States) (AFP) - UN chief Ban Ki-moon on Thursday urged the United States to improve police accountability after protests triggered by a jury's failure to press charges against a white police officer for a black man's death.

Dozens of people were arrested overnight in New York demonstrations after a grand jury decided Wednesday not to indict the police officer involved in Eric Garner's choking death.

The decision came just days after a similar ruling in Ferguson, Missouri sparked riots.

"The case is again focusing on the issue of accountability of law enforcement officials," said UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric.

"The secretary-general urges all competent authorities in the United States to do everything possible to respond to the demands for greater accountability," he said.

Garner's death in July is one of a string of racially-charged incidents in which white police officers have been accused of using unreasonable force or being too quick to fire at black suspects.

An amateur video of the New York arrest shows Garner, a heavy-set man who suffered from asthma and had six children, gasping "I can't breathe, I can't breathe" as police officers held him to the ground.

Ban welcomes the US Justice Department's decision to open a civil rights investigation into Garner's death, said Dujarric.

He also called for demonstrations to remain peaceful following the latest decision.

nikkas fail to understand that violence is this white man's language. He doesn't respect peace and his track record in history proves that. This peaceful protest shyt is just a rerun. Turn the violence that we have against each other and aim in the direction towards the mfkaz that's bringing it. And c00ns are making it no better.

Some of my white and uncle tom ass acquaintances need to tread lightly in these sensitive times. Peeps get to feeling a lil too comfortable, and them true true colors end up shining through like a Cyndi Lauper record. Losing a "friend" is nothing to me. I'm perfectly comfortable with turning that already small circle of confidants into the size of the period at the end of this sentence. You ain't seen me lately? You should already know I'm all about shedding excess fat and getting leaner. You should be too.
