First of all, Africa is a continent. Second, they aren't going to want 44 million black Americans, the majority of which are disenfranchised and have negative net worth, moving into an already crowded and developing continent. The Nigerians who come over here outwardly show their disdain for us, just imagine going there or any other African nation with the lint in our pockets.Linking up with the Chinese, yeah, okay. With what capital? Money talks. We are a people without a country. Well, technically this is our country right here, we built the motherfukker, but white people have run a successful campaign to convince you otherwise.
I disagree I have been to Africa so many times (4 months the longest). The Nigerians who come the States are a little over 100,000 people like you said Africa is a continent with 54 countries and 1.3 billion people and Nigeria happens to be one of 54 countries. So it is unfair to leap to conclusions about the expected maltreatment that you are going to receive from Africans. Africans in general seem to be very and some say too friendly to foreigners especially Americans no matter what color. They see them as more advanced. Africa needs human capital and that's what African-Americans have an education and exposure and education because quite frankly Africa does not have strong institutions yet (i.e good universities etc). I think the brain gain from African-Americans to the continent will be a great asset. In my experience/opinion, the real reason why people (including black people in the western world) won't move to Africa has nothing to do from the disrespect or hate they receive from African immigrants in the US. It's because people are afraid to cope with living in the developing world period and the perceptions/stigmas that come along with it disease, civil strife etc... You have cats on here advocating going to Europe, Canada. So you would go to these majority white places as a replacement for white supremacist America. So you are basically just switching up the type of white people you want to live under. I truly believe Africa is the future and the continent is blessed and there is so much excitement on the ground much more than these idiot TV stations will want to show you. You just need to do your research and plan. America ain't for us and they show it these past few months.
