For the last time, this system is not meant for us therefore why live in it. I know it is hard to digest but come on something has to be done. I currently proposed the idea of self-determination in the Garner thread all I heard was how it was not going to work and I asked for other solutions it was nothing but crickets. That idea is a sensible one isn't it?

Telling black people to leave america is like telling nikkas to stop breathing. Many of us can't function without being around white people. I had a coworker (black) tell me she doesn't like her neighborhood because it's too black and she needs white people around her to feel safe :scust:

It's embarrassing that we have centuries worth of examples of how evil they can be and black folks still feel they're safer around them.

Where you planning to go? I'm working on my exit strategy as well. Part of it is most black people do not feel like they are oppressed, so they see no reason to leave because they see nothing wrong with the system they're living under. It reminds me of the Harriet Tubman quote where she said she could have freed a thousand more slaves if they only knew they were slaves.

Part of it has to do with 1) our perception of America and 2) our perception of Africa. Most Americans (including black people) believe America is the greatest country on the planet and Africa is a perpetual shyt hole. I was victim of that brain washing too. When I was younger I used to honestly think that God for slavery because we would be stuck in Africa. I grew up during the time when those feed the children commercials were coming on every 5 seconds and all we saw were pictures of Africans in abject poverty starving. It wasn't until I was almost 30 that I found out that Africa had actual cities and shyt.

Black people in America have received a grade A education in white supremacy and we don't even realize it.

I went to Nairobi las summer and really liked the place. I have been grinding hard for a year to save as much as I could do research on employment in my field there and finally found a job no too long ago and decided to peace out. I think the internet opens your eyes a lot. I am little stressed out by the lifestyle this side and it is sucking a lot of my energy and unsustainable for me long term.I just refuse to live in a society that does not respect my humanity forget the convenience that the US has as far as infrastructure and technology blah blah blah. Black people don't like taking risks and explore some other shyt in general when my girl taught Teach For America in NYC she was surprised that some of the kids had never left their borough (Queens) and the kids would be amazed once they went in a field trip to Manhattan. I just realized that I want to do some great things in my life and I cannot be happy in this country point blank so as of last year I mentally checked out (I was here in the US physically but I wasn't). I even saw it in who I hung out with. I really didn't fukk with nobody who didn't have a world view amongst my group of friends and it wasn't done consciously it just happened given my mind state. In my research, I realized that Africa is the only way where industries can be built and where there is a shortage of skills. When I went to Kenya, I saw a bunch of Lebanese businesses that were doing very well mind you these Lebanese did not speak English and left their homeland in the Middle East and are making tons of money off of Africa (a continent where people write off and yet these same white people are making tons of money here what does that tell you?). I hate to say it but part of the reason why white people dominate the world is also their sense of adventure from Europe they were able to spread all over the world to territories people back in their home continent (Europe) did not exist and their continent got rich off exploiting other parts of the world. Think about how deep that shyt is?

When we say why don't we leave AmeriKKKa, I feel it's unsettling for our ancestors that built this shyt

from their wretched days of slavery. It will also be an easy victory for the CaCsuckas, if we all just

decided to migrate. But, you know CaCs will follow our progression to exploit our new movement:mjpls:

I find it funny as hell though, it's the same tactic (my great uncle) that was used to keep black people in the sharecropper subsistence down south when people started jumping ship to go to northern and western cities for better economic opportunities or just to get out of that hell (a lot of black preachers and "community leaders" would go out to deter people from leaving). shyt blew my my mind when my uncle told me this. :dwillhuh:The more things change, the more they remain the same. I'm all for Black Americans leaving and exploring other places (especially African and majority black Caribbean countries), at the very least to get a different (non :mjpls:) perspective

But if a lot of these young white people start moving/opening businesses in Nigeria/Kenya/SA/Angola, watch some of these Black Americans change their tune:mjpls:.

Just came back from the protest in D.C.. They had everyone there from Trayvon's mother all the way to Amadu Diallo's mother. The speeches were powerful.

Also S/O to J cole who was marching by himself without any entourage. :salute:

Amadu's mom speech almost made me cry and John Crawford's dad...they shouldn't be going through this...unnecessary loss. :to:

How can we take back the country that our ancestors built? What should black people be doing today to achieve the goal you're describing?

And that's actually happening right now. The largest beef distributor in Zambia is Zambeef and this is the CEO

I've had nikkas on this very site who told me that me wanting to move to Africa and start a business is me wanting to exploit black people. Meanwhile China, India, and Cacs are rushing to Africa bringing up a new wave of neo colonialism. Unless black people wake the fukk up, in 100 years the wealth of Africa will be firmly in the hands on non Africans.

Agriculture and agribusiness (especially value addition from the farm to the grocery shelf) is starting to be a profitable business in Africa because it employs the most people (average age for an African is 18 years old in a continent of 1.3 billion think about the potential of being a great workforce) and Africa still has a ridiculous 60% of the uncultivated land left on this planet and white/asian foreigners know that that's why they are there. You literally land grabs the size of European countries being take by these Asia/European agricultural companies. If I mention this shyt cats are gonna give me reasons why they should stay here and not take advantage of these opportunities. This white dude is Irish and moved to Africa in the 1990s and now runs a 400 million dollar business. Think about that for a min, Africa in the 1990s was riddled with conflicts, wars and was NOT the place of destination for most people but some white guy from Ireland leaves his comfortable stable secure country to go to a place where no one wants to go (it's called delayed gratification and taking a advantage of a crisis). he understood that everything in this world goes in cycles and he understood that Africa will not be a shythole forever better get in where nobody wants to so you can cash out. It's like buying property in a bad neighborhood when that neighrborhood gets "fixed' your shyt is worth a lot more

Completely agreed.. They both were moving. I was also happy they let Cary Ball Jr's brother speak since a lot of people aren't aware of his story.

Cosign all this. If a guy / people with no links (cultural, personal, or ancestral) can not just visit Africa but even set up shop and make (alot) of money, no reason why black folks can't do the same. And when the diaspora does it, unlike foreigners, it at least makes Africa the place ppl of African descent (wherever they are) can have opportunities and call home, rather than playing away games in majority white countries.

Umar Johnson led a trip to Ghana earlier this year that I really wanted to go to, but by the time I heard about it there were no more slots available. He said a big part of the trip would be meeting with African elected officials and business leaders to see what us in America can do to invest in Africa and see what type of business opportunities there are.

Also have you seen the documentary Blacks Without Borders? That shyt really opened my eyes to the possibilities we could have in Africa.
