I really thought Kamala would get the nomination since she had the backing of the Boule power base.
I guess they are as powerless and ineffective as brehs have argued with me many times on here have said.
I was holding out hope that if we could at least get blacks with money and resources on code, that it would create a trickle down effect.
I think it’s settling in that I don’t really have any hope for the black community as there are too many fault lines and no one is willing to compromise. I’m scared for the next generation of blacks.
Just gonna worry about myself from now on. Less headache.

The problem that I see is in divorcing ourselves from the only leadership we ever had is going to create a vacuum. See what happened to Chicago once them OG gang leaders got locked up? Who provides direction to these renegades on the street? Everything is fractured and splintered and now defined by your block. And now destruction is everywhere.
We ain’t got no other legitimate alternatives to leadership. Y’all keep running with this narrative that the Boule has white paymasters when most of them are business owners with black constituents. This doesn’t feel like a great time for African Americans, it feels like we’re at our most vulnerable. We’re divorcing ourselves of black leadership. We’re divorcing ourselves of Caribbean and Continental lateral relationships. Whatever we are doing does not seem strategic, but purely emotional, and extremely shortsighted.

Murder rates were up in the 90’s in most cities across the board. Chicago is trending up back to its 90s level violence.
And even so, how many little girls were getting shot trick or treating in the 90’s? Most of those shootings were targeted. A good half of our shootings now are randoms cause these little nikkas don’t know how to shoot and ain’t no repercussions from the top.
