You probably should stop with the close shaving. When you shave it too close, the hair is probably curling up in your pores. Just grow that shyt like James Harden, that's what my brother does.

apparently that shyt is great for black hair. I'd get an andis but aint tryna have to sharpen it all the time. i'ma just tell my brothers to cop one.

Never tried the brauns but I did use to mess with a norelco about ten years ago. It wasn't fool proof but it was a 1000 times better than a razor when it came to razor bumps

Norelco had me bumping about once every five weeks.

You right about clippers though when it comes to sharpening. Personally I just buy another one when it gets dull (which is like once every four or five months)

I already had a horse hair brush and proraso shaving cream

I seen a single blade safety razor when I went in to buy the clippers. I was like

My best shaves were with the single edge razor. But them shyts always breaking and quality are not easy to get in comparison to say Bic. If you are black I would avoid the typical razors they sell in target and try to cop something from MDBarber. And NEVER shave against the grain. I use the t outliners with the andis 5 star foil shaver to clean it up and smooth it out. And I finish it off with shea moisture tea tree aftershave and I don't get any bumps
