He made career moves that just didn't work out. Leaving the Weathermen/EC clique hurt his career. Catching a couple public beatdowns hurt his career. And sitting around thinking he was going to get on a major instead of doing the indie grind hurt his career to.
Yeah I lost track of him around 05 or so. What happened with Cage tho I remember he converted to a totally different person and still makes music but he fell out with copy way before that no?

Yup it's a lot dude was into. He just was moving goofy back then.
Icon the Mic king
Camu Tao
The one-sided beef he had with John Cena and Asher Roth.

In them video he says it was due to his heavy drinking and drugs. I high-key feel he still might be dabbling cause in one video clip it was as if he couldn't keep still. Kept moving his hat, readjusting his jacket, moving around. Smh

I still feel like Jakki and Tage are the underdog.
I knew Jakki, he was a good dude. He didn't like Copywrite saying nikka or all the dumb shyt he was into.

He reached the apex and peaked in the nerd/backpack rap arena. Where really was he going to go from there? An album full of battle raps, boasting over dusty jazz samples wasn't going to set the mainstream on fire at the time. Plus he was a gangly, awkward unmarketable looking dude.
How did he peak? Did he have some classic indie album or even anything above features and mixtapes? He needed to continue to release new music independently.

Copy got a new manager, Hip Hop from. Rocafella and I guess was pumping his head with bad ideas. He left EC/Weathermen and did this mixtape with all his Ohio peeps. He came to NYC to promote that mixtape, stayed in a hotel by the airport in Queens. At the same time a lot of Weathermen hung out in Queens at some studio. So Camu, Cage and some other guys went to the hotel and beat him up for shyts and giggles. I don't even think their was a reason besides leaving the clique and not being down anymore. They taped it and took pictures. It was embarrassing. This is before Cage turned emo tho.

Probably but you have to try and keep your name relevant. He just sat on the bench for years for no reason.
Yeah he disappeared and when he did drop some stuff it was forgettable. I honestly think copy had hit his ceiling and just didnt have that creative drive in him. Also sounded like he was gassed off himself and thought he was untouchable on the mic which was not even close to being true.
