Uncertain grounds
Tennis roi ain't that high is the reason and it's extremely expensive

Very expensive to get decent coaching.

This one coach i know charges 60 an hr for a private during the summer and hes absolute trash as a coach

Our indoor rates are 80/85 for members/non-members for private lessons

And thats relatively cheap

A camp like IMG (formerly Bolletieris) is absurdly priced

Thats why u see a lot of players with their parents as their coach

Skill sports are just that. Baseball and Football, you can start late. In Basketball and Tennis, you better be God given or else you will not make it 10 out of 10 times.

Skill sports like Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Hockey, you gotta start early

You're right but I guess what I'm getting at is that women's tennis hasn't reach anywhere near the athletic threshold in terms of talent where skill objectively beats out a much more athletic player. For example now in the NBA we're seeing that just because you're athletic doesn't mean you're going to become shyt in the league whereas if you stuck some of those same players in the 80's maybe they would have been better?

My question is has women's tennis reached that point?

Do you have any examples of pro baseball players who started late? And not players who chose other sports then went back to it.

I see this more in basketball.

Yeah I know but that's what makes it such a great value on return. Start them at 7 years old or whatever and in less than 10 years you could possibly turn them into a millionaire (or at least a hundred thousandaire). Compare to football where they gotta wait until like 21 or even basketball if they're of the top top maybe 18/19 or else if they need a few years of college also 21/22. If I get some money I'm starting a young black women's Tennis academy. I'll be scouting them all over Africa, the Carribean, and America. Why has no one thought of this? In fact why didn't the Williams sisters do this starting at the Apex of their careers?
maybe because black women are the most marginalized group in the country?
