Nothing irks me more than dumb niccas talking about "the powers that be don't want the black man to succeed and this is evident from the current state of hip hop". The "powers that be" never banned books about the real black intellectuals, and I ain't talking about Kool G and Rakim, I'm talking the likes of Malcolm X, niccas who preached real sh1t and lived for that sh1t. Nothing is stopping any black man from going to a library and reading up on that sh1t.
Underfunded schools, overpopulated prisons, high levels of unemployment and kids growing up in single parent homes, trust me nicca,they don't need music to fukk up the youth anymore than they already are.

Let me break it down more simply. The music industry is not conspiring to destroy the black race, the music industry is about money, period. Whites had their issues with the music industry, artists like Marilyn Manson provoked a lot of cac parents and they were vilified in the media endlessly just as gangsta rap was. Was the music industry on some temporary self-hating ish when they decided to corrupt their own race with the likes of Marilyn?
Y'all niccaz need to stop preaching bs and paying heed to such nonsense kicked by "intellectual" rappers . My attitude doesn't support what Willie Lynch papers advocates at all, on the contrary it is rappers it is like Cormega who support its agenda when they publicly beef with other black artists. I was hanging with my ex riding out to the beach this past weekend and she up their complaining about my music selection..."oh this music is horrible"...."this is so disturbing".......

i'll admit most of my music during the ride dealt with tricking, getting some money and just being shallow as fukk....but it's JUST MUSIC
yet she's the one who has MADE HORRIBLE DECISIONS IN HER LIFE........

she's the one who abhors "mysognist rap" yet she's broke as fukk, has anger issues, had to move in with her mom who is now helping to RAISE HER FUKKING CHILD......but it's part of her environment..her mom was a "AIN'T SHYT BYATCH" who put up with abusive men......and she has become an AIN'T SHYT BYATCH as well................and their both women raising their son to be a fukking lame.....he can't even ride a damn bike or tie his shoes at the age of 9......he was raised on X-BOX and CABLE TV...
you can't blame the MEDIA for everything when the obvious factors behind these dysfunctional lifestyles are present right their in their home....

Its a cycle tho breh and they all coincide...a strong minded brother like you may not be easy to influence but you know strong smart brothers are the minority amongst our people...we have many obstacles placed before us before we're even able to walk...I myself have avoided being a statistic by the skin of my teeth but by only divine intervention and being able to muster enough will to leave the hood alone (drug dealing,gang banging)
