NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Agree 100 with everything you said.

Killaz Theme Mega is potentially a top 10 emcee. He went punch in crazy on 'The True Meaning' but he was still nice, just not as nice as young Mega.

His flow/delivery has slowly developed into spoken word poetry, he's ahead of the beat more often than not, its a mess as far as im concerned.

Nore needs to do an intern at CBS or something, he wrecks that show.
He bodied Killaz Theme but there’s no form of Mega that’s a top 10 emcee we just need to be real wit this shyt for once. Lol

How much did mega sell with his first two albums. I think it was close to 200k for each, right?

Man cut the bullshyt:rudy: Only on the coli do nikkas think Nature is more talented than Mega OR Nore

Mega was rapping like a more advanced version of Nas in 1991 and was kicking that
mid 90s east coast gangsta style early in 1991 because he was actually living it

Which is why Marley Marl said he didn't care about signing Nas he already had the prototype

Nature was a better rapper, Even Dr Dre wanted to fukk with Nate at that time.

He was killing appearances on QB’s Finest and Firm album.

I only just got around to seeing this episode now. Brilliant episode, Cormega came through with a lot of gems and phrases on here that I had to reflect and note on, great conversations.

But ...

Is it me or whenever Prodigy is brought up around Nore, he has to act kinda funny style about it? And its mostly Nore who brings up P ... but after he brings up the situation he always kinda acts a little funny about him .. like respect aint really shown?

My man asks Mega about P, was they cool ... mega shows Nore a pic of him visiting P in jail ... " oooooh so you saw him in jaaaail .... do you believe that he choked on egg shells?" ... bro.

He also switched the convo quick when Mega revealed all what he did for Pun and his family.

Btw is it just me or is EFN quiet as fukk? He looked down as well. I'm 2 hours in and he's only quietly chipped in a few times, he hasn't even mentioned that he's Cuban/from Miami once.
Hes been like this for some time now. I always saw a lot of comments hating on him getting involved and coming through with "pointless" interjections but I never understood that ... this is a vet in the hip hop scene and knows it more than 99% of viewers so not sure where that all came from. Either he listened to those comments and confidence got down or they told him straight, stop talking.

Where did he not say the truth? You wanted him to shyt on his friends that he's been in wars with. Not gonna happen. He said it was a bad look for QB. He not about to shyt on his childhood best friends for Prodigy, even if he thinks they're wrong.
I remember how this went down when it happened.

Mega put up mad posts on IG saying whoever did this should be ashamed, P is a legend RIP etc. Then it came out that Sherm did it and he wiped out all those posts.

Agreed. Mega is my guy but bringing a fukking stack of notes to an interview is wild corny. I even felt nore was making fun of him for it on the low. “U got some more notes?” “I love all your notes” ha
But when they tried to bring it up again towards the end he said ... " I came home on appeal without a lawyer " .. after that they STFU cos they knew what that meant.

Mega is intellectually levels above

The I in Team
This was a real good interview. Cormega came prepared and I think he felt this was his moment to clear the air and get things off his chest for a wide audience. I will say though I felt he came across arrogant at times. Like he kept wanting to tell you what kind of person he was and he wanted nore to validate that instantly. It was like “yo I’m a humble guy. You know me now Nore, tell the people how much of a humble guy I am”. I get it though, he has been slammed in the media for years by others and now he is on a platform to tell his side.
