Nas could have united QB to a degree but that's just not who he is. He's his own man. People want Nas to be their father, I swear. Telling them their music is good, giving them a helping hand, telling them he's proud of them (or that he liked their album)...and that's just not who he is lmao. Nas is always gonna be the guy chilling outside the spotlight, unless he's working. If he had Hov's personality or hustler type mentality sure, something could have been done to get all those guys on a label or something. It could have been amazing. But end of the day things worked out well. All those artists, from Nas to Mobb to Mega to Nore etc...released extremely successful or revered albums. We should be able to celebrate that instead of sitting around wishing QB was Game Of Thrones and Nas was Robert Baratheon lol.

what people tend to forget is that QB is the largest housing project in the United States. Its basically its own city. Its not like a standard “Hood”.


There were people in QB who legit had blood feuds and beefs BEFORE rap was involved. Nas had a crew. Mega had a crew. Tragedy had a crew. And though they might not all have had “beef” they were NEVER united.


Trying to get Nas to “unite” all the different factions of QB, some who legit wanted to kill each other, would have required the nikka to be Jesus Christ incarnate. It was NEVER going to happen whether he wanted it or not. Nas has done just about as much as anybody could be asked to get QB on a certain page. He always talks about how nikkas from the hood put aside blood feuds just for ONE day to take pictures for the Illmatic album. Imagine trying to get them hardened goons to put shyt aside for a week or a month even
