I think what makes QB different is that each block of QB is it's own hood. From what we've seen most of the projects, you rep the entire building, but in QB it's the block of the building. That's why there's so much beef. They are all from different blocks.

That's 6 blocks 96 buildings total. That's a town in a town. Havoc use to say 41st side 12 street was the illest block and people from the 41st thought people from the 40th side were corny. They only had pride cause Nas was from the 40th side of Vernon. Most of the qb known rappers are from the 41st

That's how most projects are in NYC.

It's usually all about which side of the block you're from. Dudes will have beef with other dudes from the same projects who are from just a block away. It's always been that way.

For someone who is successful, Stoute takes weirdly personal swipes at people who don't even matter. Everybody likes AZ, he's a good dude, people respect him etc. Why does this man go out his way to talk shyt about AZ and say he was a scrub? Like, what do you gain from that. Similar to the way he talks about Mega. I can never respect people who talk about others behind their back. Because they WILL do the same to you. You don't think Stoute has said disrespectful shyt about Nas to Hov, back in the day? Come on. He's a snake, that's who he is.

I think Stoute is subconsciously trying to justify why he ruined what could have been an all-time great rap group to hip-hop fans. He said that shyt on Drink Champs, a hip-hop podcast, so he knows its primarily heads that are listening to it. By going at AZ and Mega like that, what he's trying to get at is they were holding Nas back (which is bullshyt obviously). I doubt this type of shyt keeps Stoute up at night, he likely doesn't really give a fukk, but when he's pressed on things like how he guided Nas career and how he affected AZ and Mega's career he still seems to get defensive and lash out. Maybe he's also playing up that "I'm an industry dude who only sees dollar signs" character on some troll shyt too, who knows.

The good thing is Nas is his own label now so he can stay neutral if Mega and Stoute throw shots at each other publicly.

He's gotten to where he is, by pitting people against each other and doing underhanded shyt to move forward in business. He knows how to manipulate people and use that to his advantage. He's done that pretty much his whole career after doing his road manager gig. It's how he's moved into the more powerful circles. Definitely a snake.
