Cormega is probably the most underrated of all time

Been bumpin the Realness 13 years strong. IMO it was the best album to come out in 2001. He really didn't have the right promotion behind him to blow after him and Nas fell out cuz he was originally suppose to be in the Firm but Nas replaced Mega with Nature, i remember having a bunch of old Firm tracks wit Mega on there too. He went the independent route and in 01 and it works for him, he was riding around wit Dame Dash in like 02 03 it was rumored in the source and a few sites he was go sign wit rocafella shame it didn't happen. Only real rapper i fukk wit besides A-mafia.

If him and AZ ever had an ear for beats though Cormegas isnt horrible just not good enough to drop a classic like he could have had

His first two albums were as good as anything else out at that time (including your Blueprints and Stillmatics).

Mega is good mc, but far from underrated. When he was still making music on regular basis, some people were calling him the best rapper from queens which he clearly wasn't.

He's more of irrelevant than underrated.

with that being said, mega is nice. He got few dope joints here and there. His subject matter can be summed up in 4 words: "I'm real, you're not".
