Mega doesn't do nothing better than Nas.Nothing at all not one thing.

The fact this even needs to be said is . This board is bizarro world sometimes. Mega is dope, but this album is weak. He's not as intriguing without the street element in his music, and he sounds awkward as hell alongside these R&B hooks and harps and shyt.

As far as 40-something New York rap albums go, O.C.'s project with Ray West is infinitely better than Mega Philosophy.

Yo, i clicked on it on my Spotify and quickly pushed stop. Song is dope, but i wanna play this album from front to back lol

1) writes better songs

2) works with better producers consistently

3) can take an otherwise corny premise (industry is a good example) and turn them into great songs through sheer heart & Nas can't (world is an addiction is a good example).

4) made better hardcore, murder songs. Nas doesn't have a Killaz Theme 2 or get out my way or you don't want it in his library. Is now making better conscious songs. Compare this album to the stuff on the ****** album. Sly fox, project roach, the song where he says he was hanging with aliens.




All Nas has on Him is a god given flow.

2. yes, but nas music is still better
3. nas can do anything mega can do
4. go re listen to it was written, and mega dont have a made you look.

mega is great, i personally have him in my top 12 ever
but nas on a different level, always has been

It Was Written is the most disappointing album of all time. Why do you want me to listen to it again? There aren't any authentic hardbody joints on it like Mega has. There's some Mobb Deep songs featuring Nas though. The rest is Lite fm rap. Black Girl Lost & The kool Keith joint are my favs. The Preemo song is cool. Wildly overrated though. Affirmitive Action is terrible too. Mega can't even save it.

Made U Look is the last great Nas song though. I'll give you that. Beat is a monster.
