If you can't relate to Valuable Lessons.... hell, you gotta be dead or something.

For real. this is like Grown Man Rap.

Even when guest stars are like ":birdman: I sell drugs and bust my guns and I'm gonna tell you in a witty way."

Corey's like ":sas2: you claim I don't come around no more, I'm at the house with my kids."

:whoa: BUT ITS NOT BORING. It really does sound like you're listening to someone who was a wild young man and survived where his peers didnt and all his wisdom is weighted by conviction of the struggle he lived through.

Because honestly, that's what you're listening to.

He was always a man, but it's like he grew up. A rare thing in this hip hop culture of ours, where your age seems to be based on how much money you've made.

Corey grew up.

It's a beautiful thing. :to:

Good post bro.

I'm very pleased Mega and Large Pro came through like this, I would love to hear a sequel but don't think it will happen, at least anytime soon.

First post to give props to Mega a guy met before, real cool dude...

In a culture full of c00nery it's nice to see a street rapper turn conscious as he gets older.

If Cormega puts out another classic solo album after Mega Philosophy his discography will be there with Mobb & Nas.

Hip Hop has become a joke, basically just blacks talking about about killing each other to entertain whites in the suburbs.

With that being said some of the Queensbridge rappers have used their talents to transcend music...respect

I think the beats are ill.

i'm not a fan. legacy is dope, but most of the tracks just lack a raw soulfulness i require in my production. it's what existed on the realness and true meaning, but it's missing on here. but i'm not surprised, since large professor produced it. last song from large prof i actually fukked with was

lyrically, this album is dope, though. just not feeling the beats. :manny:

Y'all overhyped the hell out of this album. A few good joints, but overall I found it to be underwhelming. This is Mega's weakest album, depending on how you feel about Born and Raised. "Home" is tight. "Mars" should've just been Mega and AZ.

Large Professor's last album had way more energy than this.
