I guess Obama should hire nothing but black people for Federal Jobs and also intriduce a bill to pay 95% of the salary of any black person a company hires or wait better yet, just give reparations to all black people. Lets say a check for $20,000 per African American person over age 18? Is this the kind of shyt you want from Obama?

Nah, but he could introduce a bill that caters to inner-city development that will indirectly influence the black communicity. funding for the revitalization/ Construction of schools, community centers, and outside recreation courts etc would help a lot.

, the Omnibus spending for HUD was/is nice but that's housing which thankfully will help destroy a lot of the poverty driven projects. housing isn't enough and we still need more funding.

Meach it's what I mentioned in the other thread. People keep raising the bar for Obama, which is alright but at some point people, including Cornel, have to actually reflect on what they themselves are doing/have done in comparison to the President.
One thing I've noticed is people keep raising the bar for him.
I'll have to ask again tell me exactly what you want/expect from him and let's build on that. You can see in this thread everytime someone posts something Obama's done/wanted to do that would/could help black people the bar is raised higher:

The one main thing I would like Obama to focus more on in his second term is rebuilding our infrastructure. I think that in high traffic areas (urban as well) the streets are crumbling but the bigges thing and the thing I think would help create a lot of jobs are the fixing things like bridges and etc. The states can provide funding but there need to be a larger influx of federal dollars.
This would help create jobs for inner city folk because you not only need engineers and planners but you would need thousands of laborers and construction workers and these would be jobs thats would last years, as bridges and the like at least out east are in dire need of repair. I do some work in employment centers. These are high paying jobs that would provide work for a lot of people.
That's one thing that I hope he puts more energy into his 2nd term. Putting in motion plans to repair our infrastructure.
