Couple of things.
It's not full lockdown like last time so it will be interesting to see the effect it has. Schools and universities are still open. Elite sports is still allowed. People are still being encouraged to work. They have called it the 'circuit breaker' lockdown.
London and the South East are actually not doing horribly looking at the numbers even though cases are rising. It will be interesting to see if this lockdown slows the spread rate by 2nd December or if we are fukked again.
My money is on we're fukked. I expect a full crazy lockdown like earlier this year t9 be implemented just after Christmas.
Then there is still February and March, which could be even worse than this run in to winter.
The British people voted for Boris Johnson. They will need to share the pain of his blunders as well.
The right wing rags that called him the best thing since Churchill and a man of the people to help him win the election, are now describing him as a tory Etonian who is aloof and out of touch.
This is a game to these people. A game common folk keep losing.
