I wish they'd stop reporting cases. We've never reported cases for the common cold or flu.

People forget that there is a 99% survival rate. And also that people die everyday. We're not immortal. Our population has actually increased since 2019. We have over 333 million people and there are 621k covid deaths. That's not many at all and that also doesn't factor in how many of those people had underlying conditions and were already close to the end of life. We have to stop the fear mongering.

I agree. I'm not going to lie, I'm out of compassion and I don't know how nurses and doctors do it. I'm at that point that if you're not vaccinated, unless it's because you can't get vaccinated, you go to the back of the line at the hospital. Part of the problem is that we're too compassionate, and those fukkers use that compassion against us. They love that, "When they go low, we go high," bullshyt. That's partly why Republicans have been able to run roughshod all over this nation politically. It's past the point of being aggressive with them. Let them get it, and get well or not.

I'm at that point that if you're not vaccinated, unless it's because you can't get vaccinated, you go to the back of the line at the hospital. I felt like shyt after the 2nd Pfizer for 3 days. Fever, chills, aches, all that. Hope you feel better soon. Super normal though.

The numbers are good but a better data would be the rate at which vaccination is going. Curve has probably flattened already.

Also, high infection rate coupled with high vaccination rate is the perfect recipe for a vaccine resistant variant so the faster we reach immunity threshold, the better.

The crazy thing to me is someone else alluded to this earlier, but kids are actually super resilient and don't care so much about being compelled to wear masks or get shots. It's adults that are acting super juvenile in this situation. I feel bad for all the kids out there that can't get vaccinated, but want to be, and have stupid fukking parents that won't do it.

Yeah I don't know how doctors and nurses aren't completely out of empathy and compassion. I keep seeing stuff all over the place from anti-vaxxers about how the death toll isn't all the big a deal, and how it's still unlikely that you're to die if you get Covid even if you're unvaccinated. All that stuff. Okay, cool. Still...STILL...is there no compassion for the health care workers that are overwhelmed right now?

I gotta be honest. It's so fukking hypocritical. A lot of these anti-vaxx a$$holes are the same people that pay lip service and dikk ride the military, cops, and first responders 24/7. And yet with their actions they are actively disrespecting front line workers by forcing them to work in miserable conditions. The same people that always yap about having to pay taxes and paying for free-loaders are the ones stressing the healthcare system right now by forcing hospitals to put them in ICU beds and use every treatment in the book to keep them alive.
