Those Anti-Covid Plastic Barriers Probably Don’t Help and May Make Things Worse


More plastic in the ocean

There's been several things that I've known from the very beginning of this shyt that I'm kinda upset weren't made clearer to the public earlier. Two of the big ones were:

#1. Handwashing was overrated
#2. Those plastic barriers weren't worth shyt


From the beginning I always envisioned it as a cloud of virus moving around someone's head at decreasing density the further away you got. Social distancing is obviously helpful. Being outside provides air currents that blow the cloud away. And masks hold the cloud back to some degree. But those fukking plastic barriers are just there. And whatever minor viral exposure you get on your hands and then into your mouth some X minutes later really ain't shyt compared to that cloud.

This is what fukks me up though. These rich white folks all got this shyt. They were the first to get this shyt, and we got black folks out there saying "we don't trust it".... WHY THE fukk NOT, If I see rich white folks getting something for free I'm trying to get that too

They were not just getting it for free, they jumped the line to get it. When I saw that, there was no way in hell I wasn’t taking a vaccine.

Facts. My mom's a doctor and is cool with the people running COVID vaccinations at the hospital she works at in Newark. She's been talking about for months white people from way out in the suburbs who would never go near there under any circumstances showed up in droves to get vaccinated.

Seen it for myself as well earlier in the spring at the CVS I go to.

in orlando, they were all up in the hood. i went to a community center on mercy drive in pine hills because i figured it would have the shortest line since it was meant to serve the black community. boy was i wrong, nothing but white people in nice cars from all over the god damn state. i told folks this is your vaccine that you're passing up on and they are sliding in like "you don't want it? cool i'll take it."

Handwashing is an important public health measure for many diseases. But right now I'm talking about how Covid spreads. And while it is certainly possible for a few Covid viruses to spread from an object to your hands to your mouth and into your system, the amount of virus you're breathing in when an infected person is in close proximity to you is 100x more important.

Someone told me the other day that the vaccine is a biological weapon and white people got the vaccine early as a Jedi mind trick to fool black people into getting it so it could be used to kill black people.

Ended up cancelling my Florida trip and got a flight credit. When I thought about how if Florida was outside of the US there would be a travel ban, it was a no brainer.
