Appreciate the data people for switching up the story via a moving average to cancel out Florida suddenly deciding to 'backdate' their deaths.

For the uninitiated, they were usually recording deaths based on when the death certificate was finalized, but now they are recording based on one the person actually dies... so when it takes a few days for the certificate to be printed and covid to be the cause of death, they get to bury it in the metrics from 2-5 days ago instead.

Florida's New COVID Reporting Method Shows 'Artificial Decline' in Latest Data

When you record with a 7 day moving average, as long as it takes less than a week to process the death, it will still have an impact on the stat line

Dr. McElyea said the patients are suffering from nausea, vomiting, muscle aches and cramping, and that’s only in minor cases.

“The scariest one that I’ve heard of and seen is people coming in with vision loss,” he said

For anyone who cares, 3rd day of school, 1 class virtual due to covid :snoop:fukking disaster that I KNOW will only get worse:to:
By comparison....I'm lucky to be in a district where nearly everyone is vaccinated and masks are mandated.
No cases...all good. And, really, theyre doing a pretty shytty job of wearing masks but it hasn't seemed to make a difference.

I did just read about this Mu variant
:unimpressed:
