I just found out that sister tested positive for coronavirus brehs. She was already in the hospital for mental health/drug problems and now she has to deal with this. Damn.

I got my hair braided Sunday and went to go get it lined up(barbershop is open Sundays till 3) and they were closed due to Rona. Braids still fresh but fuuuuuuuck I wanted to be extra crispyGot the barbershop closed out here

Yea. Cuz those are the folks actually getting tested. They're not even testing people yet. The actual number of people who have it is probably much, much higher than we realize. But that also will lower the fatality rate so there's two sides to that coin

In another bit of positive news, South Korea has the most testing by far and their case fatality rate is only at 0.6-0.8%%. Obviously there could be other factors, but the fact that they have the most people tested and the lowest fatality rate is another good sign that the lethality may be less than some think. 0.8% is still 8 times deadlier than the flu, but it's way better than 3.4%.

Just talked to my brother. They actually let him and all non violent offenders out. He had 4 months left and he's supposed to come back to jail on the date he was supposed to be released to resume the 4 months. He's pissed about it because he wanted to just get it over with. He said a sheriff told him on the low to contact his lawyer, he might be able to get the rest of the time thrown out because he's "on probation" during these 4 months were had he been able to finish the time, he would gotten out with no restrictions. He keeps getting caught driving on a suspended license, hopefully he uses this time to get his license situation straightened out.
