Yeah UHC is working great for Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, Germany. It's the private Pharm companies stepping up and committing their vast resources to help mitigate this crisis. The government simply isn't agile enough to tackle something like this. That lack of "agility" is what led to the shortage of test kits plaguing the states and frankly all the aforementioned countries.

Citizens in those country won't go bankrupt for being hospitalized though

And we have shortages of ventilators and other crucial medical supplies. Vast majority of our drugs are produced in China while they mark them up with price gouging.

And that’s why I think the U.S is going to have to reorganize and start having the drugs produced here in the U.S and Canada

Bankrupt? nikka they gonna be dead. And what does any of the second part of what you said have to do with UHC? All those other countries source from the same places we do.

Vast majority of people will recover. And when they do, they won't have a surprise bill. They won't have to fight with their insurance company to cover cost of treatment.

Neither will Americans if Congress does the right thing. :yeshrug:
Can't have everything. This crisis proves that.

Quarantine doesn't work except for when it did in China ??

From what I've seen, it seems like Italy wasn't too keen on shutting down businesses and placing its citizens on lockdown until it had already begun to spread and get out of hand. Seems like the people of Italy also didn't take the virus seriously.
Only shops are closed in Italy.
Companies and factories are open normally because of the greedy managers and investors.
They were late and they are still late in work from home implementation.
I work from home just from today, and this is mostly just in engineering. The production is still ongoing. We make new space technology and military radars, so nothing of extreme urgency in a moment like this.
In a company site of 1200 people, there are still hundreds regularly going to work every day. Just yesterday I accidentally bumped into at least three people.
With no masks. You can't find any anywhere since mid February.
In the province of Milan (the epicenter is on the other side of Milan but our hospitals are still all full).

I think you’re still expecting too much for basically a public request, not a government mandate...only thing being enforced out here are business closures
Maybe I am.

Sheeit, I'm not even so sure of the biz closures...I just hit up my fav donut shop after work yesterday and they were open too. Got me a strawberrry and maple french.
:ahh:

They just had a sign saying "take out only". They like fukkk that Corona, I got bills to pay.
