Just went and got so much land mindlessly without considering where the populations where, and then just funnelled most of it into cities anyway, and the government, Federal and local, stretched itself the hell out to the point most of it will be third world by like 2040.

Only way we're getting through this is massive testing, contact tracing, and continued social distancing.

Trump does not want to do help do any of these. He's going to tank his re-election chances due to it.

It’s crazy to me because Trump could just follow what other successful countries are doing and come out of this looking like a hero but instead he’s just making things worse for himself. It’s wild and I don’t know how you explain it other than mental illness / insanity. A few weeks ago I thought Trump had a 70-30 chance of winning re-election, now I think it’s a toss up with maybe Biden having a slim lead.
