That's a black eyes on the us government and the American society as a whole, but I think you missed the point @Hood Critic made. They should be getting help. The government NEEDS to give these businesses help and they fell asleep at the wheel.

They can do it. Just look at the speed in which they bailed out big companies.

You can go ahead and open back businesses, but there is still no normalcy, and no guarantee that money is going to roll in or people are going to support these businesses when they reopen.

So ultimately the government is giving small business owners a horrible choice. Die from lack of resources or take your chances and die from the virus and take others with you.

With Russia having a much older population, they might have a higher number than the US.

They are probably 2 weeks behind the United States like we were with Italy.
Russia’s problem is that their population in general is super unhealthy mostly because they smoke and drink excessively. The average life expectancy of a Russian man is like 65. :picard:

:jbhmm: Maybe this is mother nature's way of letting us know, that the earth is at it's carrying capacity.

We need to blow this shyt up, and restart how we do somethings.

It's only a matter of time before the next climate change disaster happens and this economy is completely vulnerable.
Overpopulation is a crock of shyt and is not an issue.

The issue is waste and pollution. That’s what Mother Nature been telling us for 100 years. Anyone telling you that overpopulation is a problem, really wants us to continue polluted the environment and sacrifice people to make up for that. These corporations have successfully made people believe they are the reason the environment has gone to shyt, and not them.

Whasup with y'all cats not believing in a middle ground or compromise? Life isn't always a zero sum game where everyone is stubborn as fukk.

Here's what's gonna happen, in non epidemic cities, social distancing is going to be relaxed. People will gradually start going back to work. If you've noticed now "Essential jobs" are mostly shytty low paying ones, unless they're in the health related field. Essential workplaces will be expanded to include MOST businesses. You'll be given a mask and gloves when you go into work and that's it. The hard hit areas are going to have to ride it out unfortunately, so stay away from every urban metropolis.

Also, the United States is an interesting place where people value their freedom over other peoples lives. What's wrong with locking down a city? Look at that article about Nurses going from Canada to Detroit.........WTF?!?! Likewise, we have these 50k+ stadiums in the United States being empty af and every day you hear about hospitals being over crowded.......wtf? Hopefully, when things start to normalize people don't forget ALL the systemic things that allowed this to go on. But, who knows.

You guys have to stop being so stubborn. Not one singular opinion is right. Mask up, gloves, Vitamin c, d and zinc everyday, stay safe.
Where are the masks and gloves going to come from? Companies aren't going to spend millions they don't have on them. that's even if they can get them.

Again, compromise.

China makes million of these masks and gloves a day, as do US companies.

I know captain fukktard will make it as hard as possible, but if everyone came to an agreed upon method (rn its quarantine and social distance) well be able to move forward.

absolutely shyts on trump.

Perhaps the rugged individualism of American culture has also prevented a stronger collective response. Certainly, the hyper-partisanship of the US political system and the rise of ‘fake news’ and conspiracy theories, has not helped.

I can’t believe we’re already at 20K deaths. That’s almost the death count of flu this year in two and a half months. And it’s just the beginning. I had faith that this would be over in a month or two but I’m starting to accept reality now. This is going to irrevocably alter everything we once took for granted. We are watching history unfold right now. This is potentially our Great Depression.
