The U.S. and the rest of the world needs to follow suit. Move manufacturing out of China. Punish the Chinese government.

The U.S. and friendly Asia-Pacific countries should strike up a new trade & economic pact (TPP 2.0?) to limit the influence of China. China's government can't continue to fukk the world over and we do nothing about it.

I know that Trump deserves a lot of blame for fukking up the response to coronavirus here in America but this is more than just about the coronavirus. China has been scamming the world for the past 25 years. It has to come to an end or else the Chinese Communist Party is going to be running the world soon (if it isn't already).

Let’s talk about it then. If we open up too soon, the virus spreads rapidly through the population and given the numbers under quarantine, the numbers would be insane.

This guy is a research scientist and he estimates 300K dead a day if we let the virus wash over a population of 300 million.




Those kinds of numbers would shock the economy and bring everything to a complete standstill. The effects would be much, much worse than the controlled shutdown that we are dealing with right now.

So what’s the argument for opening early?

Saying we won't come out of lockdown, go back to work, school, gather in groups...until everyone is vaccinated.

Meanwhile they've NEVER come up with a Coronavirus vaccine before.

Even if they did, it would require 12-18 months of testing MINIMUM so as not to murder thousands more by needle.

There is no "best case scenario".

So basically, either way we're completely fukked.

They are just saying a vaccine will allow for large gatherings without worry.

They are still testing treatments that will mitigate the severity and length of symptoms
