The way things are looking Trump will encourage a May 1st reopening and the red states will follow suit. DeSantis has said that schools may reopen on May 4th. Abbot of Texas said this week he is going roll out executive orders to reopen Texas for business. There is also the prevailing thought that heat and humidity can slow the spread. It’s backed by research by scientists so that would further emboldened proponents of re opening the economy. And a lot of people want things to be normal. Even here in NYC you have young people under the age of 40 talking about wanting to go to bars, restaurants and clubs etc. There is a lot pent up demand. Is it right? No but a lot of people aren’t taking it seriously. It’s gonna be hard to tell people stay at home till June1st. And they are the majority. If things reopen gyms, bars, clubs, movie theaters, strip clubs, restaurants are gonna be jammed packed. However if that happens infections spike and then we will be in lockdown again in June or July. So to prevent that would mean a cap on the amount of patrons they can serve.

The problem is that these businesses make their overhead by cramming mad heads in them. If there is government regulations limiting the amount of people in them for a time it will then them. The PPP seems to benefitting the top 25% of small businesses who have ties to a bank. shyt is real. I just hope we don’t have a depression man. This country isn’t built for deep economic depression. We need mass testing and contact tracing than maybe things can reopen all over again.

That would require a coordinated decision by nations to punish China.

If it happens it would be interesting to see if China starts a war.
